Two Hurt In Scaffold Accident

Workers Injured When Platform Collapses

MALDEN, Mass. , Updated 1:56 p.m. EDT October 16, 2000 -- Two people were injured Monday afternoon when a scaffold on which they were working collapsed on Dexter Street.

Malden firefighters responded to the accident, which occurred about 1:28 p.m. at 89 Dexter St.

Two workers were hurt and were being treated at the scene. Fire officials were not releasing any names.
